Trail surface
🥾 Dirt trails, grassland and sections near streams. After the rain, the soil became very slippery, especially on the descent.

Experience level
🥾 Moderate to difficult in wet conditions — The uphill route is shorter but steeper. The return route is longer and more gradual, but wet soil made both routes slippery.

Steep sections
⚠️ A very steep downhill section requires a rope. It was particularly slippery after the rain.

Weather
🌧️ Rain began at 3:21 PM and was fairly heavy. It stopped after approximately 30 minutes, but the rain made the descent considerably more slippery.

Wildlife
🐃 Water buffalo — Water buffalo were seen in the summit grassland.

Dogs
🐕 Two black dogs were encountered on the return route. Their owner said they were stray dogs rescued from the mountains and were friendly toward people. They were not on leashes, so caution is recommended.
